Is Star Trek a Reality?

It has always been that the theory of light-speed travel was as Spock would say, "highly illogical". However, there was a loophole in Einstein's general theory of relativity recently discovered that would make light-speed even slower than us. What's the trick you might ask? Well it's not us that moves, it's the space that moves. Maybe warp-speed is no longer science fiction. NASA scientists are working on the first practical field test test toward the possibility warp drives and faster-than-light travel. Scientists say that it wouldn't work quite as it did on Star Trek. Speaking that space doesn't have mass, and has been expanding at a measurable rate since the big bang. That now means that the wavelength will travel away from the observer, instead of the observer moving toward the wavelength - i.e. Earth. This now means that space travel is no loner science fiction and we will be able to travel to the furthest stars.

Man Makes Invention; Army Interested

Jeremiah Raber has received the attention of the US Army when his invention was found in his basement. His invention is known as Nutshellz, and it is a bulletproof cup. In a demonstration, Raber fired a 9 mm round and .22 caliber pistol into his crotch and the bullets just bounced off. He explained how his groin protector will absorb any blow to the testicles because of his ultra-lite Kevlar. Since 2005, more than 1,500 soldiers were taken out of battle with genital wounds. These injuries include burns and lacerations and could leave men unable to father children, if you catch my drift. Nutshellz sells for $125 and has had athletes, soldiers, and law enforcement as the primary focus. The website says that, "Whereas a roundhouse kick to the nuts can actually shatter some plastic cups, this cup won't crack if you shoot it with a pistol."

One-Way Tickets To Mars Beginning in 2022

A Dutch company known as Mars One will send colonizers to Mars beginning 2022. U.S. applicants may apply for $38 via video application. This journey will be a one-way journey, so the volunteers will never return to Earth. "It's likely that there will be a crematorium," said CEO Bas Lansdorp, "It's up to the people on Mars to decide what to do with their dead." The biggest obstacles are the financial ones, but the $38 fee may cover most costs. If the volunteers arrive after seven months of travel, they will face a long, lonely life of danger. It will also smell bad because showering with water is no longer an option.

In the US, it toppled Macklemore's 'Thrift Shop' from the top spot and replaced Justin Timberlake's 'Pusher Lover Girl' for most streamed in 24 hours. It sold over 50,000 copies in 48 hours.
