A five year old patient from Seattle who underwent a liver transplant received a very special surprise. The five year old's father reached out to Reddit to help him contact the video game company Bungie to make his son feel better. Stating that his son had a liver transplant and that he loved 'Halo', the dad was successful in contacting Bungie. On January 6th, the boy received a very special surprise. The boy received a Get Well Soon card signed by the employees at Bungie, a replica 'Carter' helmet from 'Halo: Reach', and some T-shirts. In response to the game's Mature rating, the father explained how he is not a typical 'Halo' fan. The boy would only play parts of the campaign with his father and would do a local multiplayer if the mother joined also, "The Spartan storyline really gets his imagination going, it's wonderful". The boy would rather duke it out with his action figures instead of other people. Looks like Halo went above and beyond the call of duty.
